Regular Season Round 13: STK Czarni - GKS Tychy 72-76

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked GKS Tychy (7-5) beat 11th ranked STK Czarni (5-7) in Slupsk 76-72 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for guard Damian Szymczak (186-95) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. Pawel Zmarlak (195-82, agency: Promotex) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. Patryk Pelka (202-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) added 4 points and 12 assists in the effort for STK Czarni. GKS Tychy have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 7-5 record. STK Czarni lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. GKS Tychy will face higher ranked Enea Astoria (#5) in Bydgoszcz in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. STK Czarni will play on the road against SKK Siedlce (#16) and hope to win that game.
