Rather predictable result in Vitoria-Gasteiz where seventh ranked Araski (5-4) defeated 9th ranked Mann Filter (3-6) 68-52 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American forward Ariel Edwards (190-92, college: Penn St., agency: Ron Sport) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Dutch guard Natalie Van-Den-Adel (185-90, college: Colorado St.) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Araski's coach Madelen Urieta allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Swedish guard Paulina Hersler (190-94, college: Florida) who recorded 12 points and guard Tania Perez-Torres (183-91) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Araski moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Valencia. Loser Mann Filter keeps the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Zamarat.
