Regular Season Round 20: SeaHorses - Fukuoka Rizing 69-62

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Fukuoka Rizing's (4-17) road loss to fourth ranked Aishin Sea Horses (11-10) in Kariya 62-69 on Saturday. The former international center JR Sakuragi (206-76, college: UCLA) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Kennedy Meeks (208-95, college: N.Carolina) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American Eric Jacobsen (208-94, college: Arizona St.) replied with 24 points and 9 rebounds and British forward Benjamin Lawson (216-95, college: W.Kentucky) added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Fukuoka Rizing. Aishin Sea Horses moved-up to third place, which they share with Toyama Grouses. Newly promoted Fukuoka Rizing keeps the fifth position with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
