Regular Season Round 13: Sokol Lancut - Polfarmex Kutno 84-77

Very expected game when 9th ranked Polfarmex (6-6) lost on the road to second ranked Sokol Lancut (9-3) 84-77 on Saturday. Sokol Lancut shot 28 for 42 from the free-throw line, while Polfarmex only scored ten points from the stripe. They outrebounded Polfarmex 43-24 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Polfarmex was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Kamil Zywert (185-96) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Sokol Lancut players scored in double figures. Power forward Michal Marek (208-96) answered with 20 points and forward Filip Czyznielewski (198-91) added 16 points in the effort for Polfarmex. Polfarmex's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Sokol Lancut maintains second place with 9-3 record having just one point less than leader Slask Wroclaw. Loser Polfarmex dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Sokol Lancut will face Pruszkow (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Polfarmex will play against Polonia Leszno (#3) and hope to win that game.
