Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Marghera (5-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Bolzano BK (6-5) 61-54 on Saturday. It was a great evening for naturalized Senegalese guard Safy Fall (176-89) who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Elisa Mancabelli (173-94) helped adding 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Swingman Silvia Pastrello (181-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and guard Sara Toffolo (184-0) scored 8 points and 11 rebounds. Bolzano BK maintains sixth place in A2 with 6-5 record. Loser Marghera keeps the ninth position with five games lost. Bolzano BK will face league's leader Costa Masnaga on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Marghera will play against Alpo VF (#3) and hope to win that game.
