Bottom-ranked Latvian Kibirkstis (0-4) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to third ranked Swedish Lulea Basket (4-1) 83-53 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Lulea Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Lulea Basket forced 20 Kibirkstis turnovers. Kibirkstis' coach already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Lulea Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending Swedish champion maintains third position with 4-1 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Zabiny Brno, which they share with Rostov. Loser Kibirkstis still closes the standings with four games lost. Lulea Basket will meet Gorizont (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Kibirkstis will have a break next round.
