The biggest surprise of round 6 was guest Reims' (4-2) road victory over 6th ranked Toulouse (3-3) 64-54 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Toulouse. The best player for the winners was Marine Debaut (-94) who scored 14 points and 5 assists. American forward Asia Logan (184-92, college: Pittsburgh) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Kaylee Jensen (193-96, college: Oklahoma St.) who recorded 22 points and 8 rebounds and German power forward Svenja Greunke (188-89) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Toulouse's coach Xavier Noguera rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Reims moved-up to third place, which they share with Montbrison and Charnay. Toulouse at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Reims is looking forward to face Reze (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Toulouse will play against the league's leader Chartres and is hoping to win this game.
