Regular Season Round 11: JX-Eneos S. - Toyota B SR 87-55

WJBL top team - JX-Eneos S. (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Toyota B SR (6-5) in Kashiwa 87-55. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Toyota B SR. JX-Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota B SR's 30. JX-Eneos S. had a 29-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 14-of-15 shooting from the field). International forward Yuki Miyazawa (182-93, college: Queens, NY) contributed with 6 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) answered with 9 points and forward Nozomi Kato (175-94) added 9 points in the effort for Toyota B SR. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JX-Eneos S. have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Toyota B SR at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Chanson V-M. JX-Eneos S. are again looking forward to face Toyota B SR (#6) in Aichi in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Toyota B SR will have a break next round.
