Bottom-ranked Iraklis (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 72-51 loss to sixth ranked Eleutheria M. (3-3) in Athens. They also forced 27 Iraklis turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Iraklis' players. 25 personal fouls committed by Iraklis helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center Cassie Rochel (194-91, college: Wisconsin) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and guard Danai Kamenou (174-90) supported her with 20 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eleutheria M. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Iraklis at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with six games lost.
