Everything could happen in Thessaloniki at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked PAOK and 8th ranked Dafni Agioy had identical 3-2 record. This time PAOK used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Athens 84-78 on Sunday night. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Dafni Agioy was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Kaylon Williams (189-92, college: Oklahoma, agency: Two Points) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. The former international guard Lolita Lymoura (180-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Rafaela Soultani (171-91) who recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Canadian swingman Cassandra Brown (189-92, college: Portland) added 17 points and 11 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. PAOK have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Panionios and Esperides. Dafni Agioy lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. PAOK will face Kalyvion (#9) in Kalyvia in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
