Very important is a home loss of second ranked Dragonflies (16-5) against fourth ranked Nishinomiya S. (7-14) on Sunday night. Host Dragonflies were crushed by Nishinomiya S. in Hiroshima 90-61. Nishinomiya S. forced 20 Dragonflies turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Dragonflies' players. American center Brad Waldow (208-91, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Octagon Europe) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) chipped in 13 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nishinomiya S. maintains fourth place with 7-14 record, which they share with Ehime OV. Newly promoted Dragonflies still keep top position with five games lost. Nishinomiya S. will face higher ranked Tokyo Z (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dragonflies will play against the league's leader Kumamoto V. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
