Very predictable result when second ranked Arka Gdynia (8-2) defeated on the road 11th ranked Politechnika Gdanska (1-8) 79-65. They outrebounded Politechnika Gdanska 41-24 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Arka Gdynia brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. 24 personal fouls committed by Politechnika Gdanska helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for American Emma Cannon (190-89, college: Cent.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Australian guard Rebecca Allen (188-92, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks for the winners. Five Arka Gdynia players scored in double figures. American guard Maegan Conwright (173-92, college: Florida St.) replied with 19 points and her fellow American import forward Tiffany Clarke (183-91, college: Vanderbilt) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Politechnika Gdanska. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Arka Gdynia have an impressive five-game winning streak.
