Regular Season Round 21: Cyberdyne IR - Bambitious Nara 85-89

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Cyberdyne IR (15-6) in Tsukuba on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Bambitious Nara (5-15) 89-85. It was a great shooting night for Bambitious Nara especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) chipped in 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Bambitious Nara's coach Haruyuki Ishibashi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Bambitious Nara maintains sixth place with 5-15 record. Cyberdyne IR at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. They share it with Toyotsu FE and Sendai 89ers. Bambitious Nara are looking forward to face higher ranked Shimane Magic (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cyberdyne IR will play against Fukushima and is hoping to win this game.
