No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Tessilform Bernareggio (6-5) beat on the road 13th ranked Desio (3-8) 70-59 on Sunday. Tessilform Bernareggio dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Desio's 18. Center Davide Bossola (199-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Stefano Laudoni (195-89) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Tessilform Bernareggio players scored in double figures. Power forward Giovanni Lenti (200-96) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and naturalized Swiss Olivier Giacomelli (198-95, agency: Players Group) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Desio. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tessilform Bernareggio. They moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with San Vendemiano. Desio lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. Tessilform Bernareggio will face higher ranked Padova (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Desio will play against Lecco (#7) and hope to win that game.
