Regular Season Round 6: Pacific Caesar - NSH 63-104

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Pacific Caesar (2-2) in Surabaya. Hosts were rolled over by NSH (4-1) 104-63. NSH forced 22 Pacific Caesar turnovers and outrebounded them 45-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 65.2 percentage. NSH players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for American guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-91, college: Portland St.) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. The other American import power forward Anthony Simpson (202-87, college: Kent St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners. Four NSH players scored in double figures. American forward Qarraan Calhoun (203-86, college: Houston) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Yerikho Tuasela (178-94) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for Pacific Caesar. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. NSH keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Hang Tuah. Pacific Caesar at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. NSH will play against Bima Perkasa (#4) in Sakti in the next round. Pacific Caesar will play at home against Pelita Jaya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
