Very expected game when 9th ranked Alma TR (4-5) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Vanoli Cremona (6-3) 87-78 on Sunday. Alma TR was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American guard Drew Crawford (196-90, college: Northwestern) who scored 24 points. His fellow American import swingman Wesley Saunders (196-93, college: Harvard) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jamarr Sanders (193-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) who recorded 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Latvian Ojars Silins (203-93) added 16 points respectively.
