Second ranked Olimpia (7-1) crushed at home 5th ranked BrGU COR Victoria (3-6) by 87 points 124-37, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. Olimpia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BrGU COR Victoria to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Olimpia dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to BrGU COR Victoria's 28. Olimpia forced 30 BrGU COR Victoria turnovers and outrebounded them 45-25 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Olimpia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 42 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by BrGU COR Victoria's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Arina Masko (175-99) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 assists. The former international Darya Mahalias (180-93) contributed with 23 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Olimpia players scored in double figures. Daria Panasyuk (176-96) answered with 8 points and Lyudmila Karinchuk (173-95) added 5 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BrGU COR Victoria. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Olimpia. They maintain second place with 7-1 record having just one point less than leader Tsmoki-Minsk. BrGU COR Victoria lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with six games lost. Olimpia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Grodno to the arena Victoria.
