Bottom-ranked Brasilia managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses on Monday night. This time newly promoted Brasilia won against seventh-ranked Minas 88-77. Brasilia made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan center Windi Graterol (204-86, agency: Pro Sports) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Welington Dos-Santos (185-81) contributed with 8 points and 17 assists for the winners. Four Brasilia players scored in double figures. American swingman Dominique Coleman (198-88, college: Francis Marion) answered with 27 points and 6 rebounds and Alexandre de-Souza (202-92) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Minas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Brasilia maintains fourteenth place with 3-9 record. Minas lost third consecutive game.
