Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hap.Petah Tikva (4-3) against ninth ranked Ramat Hasharon (3-4) on Monday night. Visiting Hap.Petah Tikva was defeated by Ramat Hasharon in a tough game in Hasharon 70-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hap.Petah Tikva. The game was also dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Kaela Davis (188-95, college: S.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Linnae Harper (173-95, college: Ohio St.) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Monique Reid (185-90, college: Louisville, agency: LBM Management) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (made all of her seven free throws) and point guard Alexis Peterson (170-95, college: Syracuse, agency: LBM Management) added 21 points and 4 steals in the effort for Hap.Petah Tikva. Ramat Hasharon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Hap.Petah Tikva at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Bnot Hertzeliya. Ramat Hasharon will play against Maccabi Ashdod (#7) on the road in the next round. Hap.Petah Tikva will play against the league's leader Elitzur Holon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
