Very important is a road loss of second ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (4-3) against fifth ranked Maccabi Ramat Gan (5-2) on Monday night. Visiting Bnot Hertzeliya was defeated by Maccabi Ramat Gan in Ramat Hen 79-65. It was a key game for the top position in the league. American guard Tierra Ruffin-Pratt (178-91, college: N.Carolina) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Maccabi Ramat Gan players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent.Michigan) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Tamera Young (188-86, college: JMU) scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Maccabi Ramat Gan keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Elitzur Ramla and Elitzur Holon. Loser Bnot Hertzeliya dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Hap.Petah Tikva. Maccabi Ramat Gan will meet Maccabi Raanana (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bnot Hertzeliya will play against Elitzur Ramla (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
