Eighth-ranked Koping Stars (4-11) gave a tough game to fifth ranked Boras Basket (10-7). The visitors from Boras managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Koping Stars. Koping Stars were ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 39-35 second half run of Boras Basket. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Nimrod Hilliard-IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Simon Gunnarsson (198-95) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Serbian guard Aleksa Solevic (188-93, agency: Dynamics Global Management) came up with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and Niklas Larsson (199-94) added 19 points respectively for Koping Stars in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boras Basket maintains fifth place with 10-7 record. Newly promoted Koping Stars keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Boras Basket will play against Nassjo (#6) at home in the next round. Koping Stars will play against the league's leader Sodertalje Kings and hope to get back on the winning track.
