There was a minor upset in Ceres where 4th placed Independiente (6-7) was crushed by fourth ranked Olimpico (8-7) 88-68 on Wednesday. Olimpico dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Independiente's 24. They outrebounded Independiente 49-26 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Pablo Martinez (197-82) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Matias Martinez (178-94) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Franco Vieta (190-92) who recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds and forward Joaquin Deck (198-92) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olimpico have a solid series of three victories in a row.
