LEB Silver top team - Real Murcia (9-4) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Albacete (4-9) 78-70. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) fired 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Deshawn Curtis (198-92, college: Cheyney, agency: Duran International) chipped in 15 points. Real Murcia's coach Rafael Monclova allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Marcus Van (201-87, college: Cent.Michigan) produced 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks and Eddy Polanco (190, college: SE Louisiana) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Albacete players scored in double figures. Real Murcia maintains first place in Silver with 9-4 record. Loser Albacete keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Real Murcia will meet at home L'Hospitalet (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Albacete will play against Girona Basquet (#5) and hope to secure a win.
