Rather expected game when 6th ranked Shiga L-Stars (4-18) were defeated on the road by fourth ranked Osaka Evessa (9-13) 67-58 on Wednesday. Strangely Shiga L-Stars outrebounded Osaka Evessa 47-32 including 19 on the offensive glass. American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The other American import power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Nigerian-American power forward Gani Lawal (206-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Israeli center DOr Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Osaka Evessa maintains fourth position with 9-13 record, which they share with San-en. Shiga L-Stars lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 18 games lost. Osaka Evessa will face Yokohama BC (#6) on the road in the next round. Shiga L-Stars will play against Fukuoka Rizing and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
