Regular Season Round 4: Zabiny Brno - UBI Graz 92-49

An interesting game for Czech Zabiny Brno (2-0) which hosted in Brno 3rd ranked Austrian UBI Graz (0-2). Top-ranked Zabiny Brno had an easy win 92-49. Zabiny Brno dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to UBI Graz's 32. Zabiny Brno forced 27 UBI Graz turnovers and outrebounded them 48-24 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Petra Zaplatova (175-91) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian center Justina Matuzonyte (195-94) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Camilla Neumann (181-94) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Cierra Coffin (170-94, college: NW Nazarene) scored 13 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zabiny Brno maintains first position with 2-0 record. UBI Graz at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Zabiny Brno will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. UBI Graz will play at home against the league's second-placed Young Angels and hopes to get finally their first victory.
