Regular Season Round 7: NSH - Satria Muda 78-66

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked NSH as it allowed them to take a leadership position. NSH defeated 4th placed Satria Muda in Jakarta 78-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Satria Muda. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Anthony Simpson (202-87, college: Kent St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-91, college: Portland St.) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-87, college: USF) answered with 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Jamarr Johnson (193-88, college: Widener) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Satria Muda. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Defending champion Satria Muda keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Satria Muda will play next round against Prawira trying to get back on the winning streak. NSH will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Pelita Jaya. It will be extra interesting game as Pelita Jaya is their local rival from Jakarta.
