The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Kagoshima's (8-14) road loss to fourth ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (10-12) 80-103 on Friday. Tokyo Cinq R. outrebounded Kagoshima 39-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of center Joe Wolfinger (216-85, college: Citadel) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-14 shooting from the field) and forward Chris Olivier (203-92, college: Oklahoma St.) who added 28 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. At the losing side center Antone Warren (208-93, college: Antelope Valley CC) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and forward Shelton Boykin (198-92, college: Angelo St.) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Kagoshima players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tokyo Cinq R. moved-up to third place, which they share with Saitama Bron. Kagoshima lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
