1st Division top team - Lahti (11-0) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat sixth ranked HNMKY (6-6) 90-75. HNMKY was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 33-13 charge of Lahti, which allowed them to win the game. They made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international Vesa Makalainen (200-86) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Jarred Jones (201-93, college: Loyola, MD) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Five Lahti players scored in double figures.
