Leader Chorale de Roanne delivered the eighth victory on Friday night. This time they beat 17th ranked Caen (2-7) 95-77. Chorale de Roanne made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. American David Jackson (192-86, college: W.Illinois) stepped up and scored 23 points and 4 assists for the winners and American-Italian point guard Matt Carlino (190-92, college: Marquette) chipped in 17 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American point guard Jerrold Brooks (183-91, college: S.Mississippi) with 24 points and the other American import forward Jordan Tolbert (201-92, college: SMU) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chorale de Roanne have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. Caen lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Denain.
