Regular Season Round 11: Orebro - Eskilstuna 60-99

Bottom-ranked Orebro (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 99-60 loss to fourth ranked Eskilstuna (6-2) in Orebro on Friday evening. The game without a history. Eskilstuna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Orebro's 30. Eskilstuna forced 23 Orebro turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Orebro's players. It was a great evening for guard Hannes Widell (183-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 4 assists. Guard Jonathan Ninkingira (194-99) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Eskilstuna players scored in double figures. Damir Avdic (-93) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian guard Aleksa Simovic (190-86) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Eskilstuna maintains fourth place with 6-2 record. Orebro lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
