Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Start Lublin II (6-8) was rolled over at home by fourth ranked LKS MG13 Lodz (9-5) 92-62 on Saturday. LKS MG13 Lodz outrebounded Start Lublin II 59-28 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Start Lublin II's players. Jacek Gwardecki (199-94) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Kacper Dominiak (186-98) chipped in 21 points. At the losing side guard Bartlomiej Pelczar (186-0) responded with 30 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jan Piliszczuk (185-0) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for LKS MG13 Lodz. They moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with AZS UMCS Lbn. Loser Start Lublin II dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. LKS MG13 Lodz will face Ostrow Mazow. (#11) in Ostrow Mazowiecki in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Start Lublin II will play at home against KK Warszawa and hope to win that game.
