Regular Season Round 10: Hogsbo - Visby 90-71

Bottom-ranked Visby Ladies (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 90-71 loss to fourth ranked Hogsbo (6-3) in Goteborg on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Hogsbo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Power forward Alexis Hyder (180-94, college: LSU) had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Tiasha Gray (170-94, college: Austin Peay St.) chipped in 25 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Branndais Agee (180-94, college: Michigan St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and guard Zakiya Saunders (175-95, college: Cent.Florida) scored 17 points and 4 assists. Four Hogsbo and five Visby Ladies players scored in double figures. Hogsbo have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Hogsbo maintains fourth position with 6-3 record. Loser Visby Ladies still closes the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Mark. Hogsbo will meet IK Eos (#6) in the next round. Visby Ladies will have a break next round.
