No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked La Charite (8-6) smashed at home 12th ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (3-9) 99-74 on Saturday. Lourdes-Tarbes was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American point guard Austen Rowland (186-81, college: Lehigh) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 assists. Center Alexis Thomas (196-95) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Kevin Thalien (190-92) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. La Charite moved-up to sixth place in Group B, which they share with Vitre. Loser Lourdes-Tarbes keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost.
