Regular Season Round 13: Innova Chef - Chantada 63-67

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Innova Chef (8-2) in Zamora on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Chantada (7-3) 67-63. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Innova Chef. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Miguel-Antonio Garcia (193-94) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Guard Daniel Manchon (193-98) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Vincent Dillard (196-92, college: Charleston) answered with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import center Mike Chandler (203-92) added 12 points, 14 rebounds and 8 blocks in the effort for Innova Chef. Chantada have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in Group A-B, which they share with Culleredo. Innova Chef at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Leon. Chantada is looking forward to face Naron (#9) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Innova Chef will play against PBB (#7) in Porrino and is hoping to win this game.
