Regular Season Round 13: Yamanashi QB - Niigata R. 71-62

Yamanashi QB can celebrate finally their first win this season after 12 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Niigata R. (0-13) 71-62. Yamanashi QB made 24-of-24 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Uchibori Murasaki (165-94) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 assists (made all of her nine free throws !!!). Forward Misa Yokoi (170-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) for the winners. Forward Naomi Kitagawa (173-94) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Hatanaka Miho (177-85) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Niigata R.Four Niigata R. players scored in double figures. Yamanashi QB (1-12) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place. It was Niigata R.'s thirteenth loss in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Yamanashi QB will again play against bottom-ranked Niigata R. (#12) in Tokyo in the next round. Niigata R. will have a break next round.
