Regular Season Round 21: Aaguacateros - Correcaminos 83-89

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Aaguacateros (11-9) against fourth ranked Correcaminos (10-10) on Saturday night. Host Aaguacateros were defeated by Correcaminos in a tough game in Michoacan 83-89. It was a good game for international guard Jose-David Estrada (194-94, agency: Pro Sports) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. Naturalized American forward Aaron Perez (196-86, college: Oklah.Baptist) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 17 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. American Dominic McGuire (206-85, college: Fresno St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Noe Alonzo (200-83, college: Grand Canyon) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Aaguacateros. Four Correcaminos and five Aaguacateros players scored in double figures. Correcaminos maintains fourth place with 10-10 record, which they share with Panteras and Laguneros. Aaguacateros at the other side keep the third position with nine games lost. Correcaminos' next round opponent will be Abejas (#5) in Guanajuato. Aaguacateros will play on the road against Huracanes in Tampico and hope to win that game.
