Very expected game in Roma where 15th ranked Catania Alfa (2-10) was defeated by ninth ranked IUL Tiber (6-6) 84-68 on Saturday. IUL Tiber looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Catania Alfa's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Federico Lestini (204-83, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Alessandro Cecchetti (200-91) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. IUL Tiber's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was naturalized Bulgarian guard Georgi Sirakov (187-92, agency: Interperformances) with 25 points and Matteo Gottini (192-79) scored 12 points. Four Catania Alfa players scored in double figures. IUL Tiber moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with 4 other teams.
