Regular Season Round 14: GKS Tychy - Enea Astoria 76-78

Quite upsetting was GKS Tychy's home defeat in a game versus Enea Astoria who edged hosts 78-76. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of GKS Tychy. The best player for the winners was point guard Marcin Nowakowski (184-89) who scored 20 points and 9 assists. Pawel Spica (190-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Maciej Krakowczyk (200-96) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Maciej Maj (200-88) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Four GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Enea Astoria have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with WKK Wroclaw. GKS Tychy at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Enea Astoria will meet at home bottom-ranked SKK Siedlce (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. GKS Tychy will play against WKK Wroclaw (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
