No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Valencia (6-4) defeated at home 10th ranked Zamarat (3-7) 63-47. Valencia held Zamarat to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.2 percent accuracy of the winners. The former international power forward Maria Pina (187-87) notched 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Anna Gomez (181-86, agency: ProDep Management) supported her with 6 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals.
