Regular Season Round 14: Pruszkow - Sokol Lancut 69-52

Round 14 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Sokol Lancut (11-4). They were defeated by thirteenth ranked Pruszkow (5-9) 69-52 on Saturday night. Strangely Sokol Lancut outrebounded Pruszkow 47-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Michal Kierlewicz (194-97) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Power forward Rafal Kulikowski (205-85, agency: Promotex) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pruszkow moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with STK Czarni and Biofarm PZN. Sokol Lancut lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the second position with four games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Slask Wroclaw. Sokol Lancut will play next round against league's leader Slask trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Pruszkow will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Polfarmex in Kutno.
