Regular Season Round 12: Pozzuoli - Roma S.Azzurra 57-75

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Pozzuoli (3-9) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Roma S.Azzurra (8-3) 75-57 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Serbian power forward Njegos Visnjic (200-79) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Giovanni Bruni (185-82, agency: Players Group) who added 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five Roma S.Azzurra players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Matteo Bini (200-94) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Ernesto Carrichiello (196-84) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Roma S.Azzurra moved-up to fifth place in B. Newly promoted Pozzuoli dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Roma S.Azzurra will face Scauri (#9) at home in the next round. Pozzuoli will play against Valmontone and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
