Undefeated leader CCC Polkowice delivered the tenth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Wisla Krakow (6-4) 82-70. CCC Polkowice made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. CCC Polkowice outrebounded Wisla Krakow 39-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great shooting night for CCC Polkowice especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. It was a great evening for American swingman Tiffany Hayes (177-89, college: Connecticut) who led her team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). British Johannah Leedham-Warner (180-87, college: Franklin Pierce) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five CCC Polkowice players scored in double figures. Spanish forward Maria Conde (187-97, college: Florida St.) responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Spanish guard Leonor Rodriguez-Manso (180-91, college: Florida St.) scored 17 points and 7 assists. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for CCC Polkowice. Defending champion maintains first place with 10-0 record. Wisla Krakow lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Gorzow Wlkp.. CCC Polkowice will meet at home Sleza Wroclaw (#4) in the next round. Wisla Krakow will play against Energa Torun and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
