Very expected game in Venezia where 9th ranked Marghera (5-6) was defeated by third ranked Alpo VF (10-2) 69-52 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was power forward Veronica DellOlio (190-93) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Marta Scarsi (182-95) chipped in 9 points and 14 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Sara Toffolo (184-0) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds and guard Alice Mandelli (172-93) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Alpo VF maintains third position in A2 with 10-2 record behind leader Campobasso. Loser Marghera keeps the ninth place with six games lost.
