The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Grasshoppers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Grasshoppers smashed bottom-ranked Keijser Capital in Katwijk 84-53. Grasshoppers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Keijser Capital's 28. Grasshoppers forced 24 Keijser Capital turnovers and outrebounded them 49-33 including a 23-8 advantage in offensive rebounds.
