Regular Season Round 13: Olivar - Tarragona 64-73

Very expected game when 5th ranked Olivar (7-5) lost to first ranked Tarragona (10-2) in Zaragoza 64-73 on Saturday. Tarragona forced 20 Olivar turnovers. It was a very good performance for center Ferran Torres (201-88) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Forward Jaume Zanca (195-97) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Tarragona players scored in double figures. Center Jaime Pradilla (206-1) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Raul Lobaco (190-0) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Olivar. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Tarragona. Newly promoted Tarragona maintains first place in Group C-A with 10-2 record. Loser Olivar dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
