Date: December 16, 2018
The game in Gwynneville was also quite interesting. Third ranked Kings (9-4) played at the court of 5th ranked Illawarra Hawks (6-8). Kings defeated Illawarra Hawks 83-68 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Illawarra Hawks. The former international center Andrew Bogut (213-84, college: Utah) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and the former international swingman Brad Newley (199-85, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Kings players scored in double figures. Loser Illawarra Hawks keep the fifth position with eight games lost. Kings will meet at home league's second-placed United in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
