Bottom-ranked Ironi Nahariya managed to get a third victory, breaking the four-game losing streak. This time they won against eighth-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv 90-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Myke Henry (198-92, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import forward Terry Allen (203-93, college: Richmond) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Ironi Nahariya's coach Mickey Gorke used entire bench saving starting five for next games. American Jamal Shuler (191-86, college: VCU) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Nigerian power forward Alade Aminu (207-87, college: Georgia Tech) added 10 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Four Ironi Nahariya and five Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Ironi Nahariya (3-7) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Hapoel T-A and Maccabi Rishon. Ironi Nahariya's next round opponent will be league's leader Maccabi T-A in Tel-Aviv and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
