Regular Season Round 13: JAC Sants - Sant Josep 84-64

There was a small surprise when eighth ranked JAC Sants (6-6) crushed 5th ranked Sant Josep (6-6) in Barcelona 84-64 on Sunday. JAC Sants looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Sant Josep's players. It was a very good performance for center Marc Ruf (203-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Center Carles Gimeno (197-98) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four JAC Sants players scored in double figures. JAC Sants' coach Albert Gomez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Luis-Enrique Gonzalez answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Seth Goodman (198-88, college: S.Wesleyan) added 9 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Sant Josep. JAC Sants moved-up to fifth place in Group C-B, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Sant Josep. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
