Regular Season Round 24: Nagoya DD - Ryukyu GK 88-91

Important game to mention about took place in Nagoya. First ranked Ryukyu GK (18-6) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging second-best Diamond Dolphins (14-10) 91-88 in the game for the first place. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Jeff Ayres (206-87, college: Arizona St.) who added 24 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Markeith Cummings (198-88, college: Kennesaw St.) with 38 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 9 assists and Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St.) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Diamond Dolphins' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ryukyu GK maintains first position with 18-6 record. Diamond Dolphins at the other side keep the second place with ten games lost. They share the position with Kawasaki BT and Kyoto Hannar.. Ryukyu GK will play against Hitachi Sunrockers (#4) in Tokyo in the next round. Diamond Dolphins will play on the road against the league's second-placed Toshiba Thunders in Kanagawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
