Bottom-ranked Olimpico 64 is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to ninth ranked Alcobendas (5-6) 73-63 on Sunday evening. Alcobendas made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Alcobendas outrebounded Olimpico 64 52-29 including a 25-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Victoria Vine (173-95, college: Eckerd) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. American center Erika Livermore (185-93, college: Fair Dickinson) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Alcobendas players scored in double figures. Power forward Katia Javier (182-93) answered with 22 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Sara Gines (170-93) added 13 points in the effort for Olimpico 64. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Alcobendas moved-up to eighth place in Group B, which they share with Gran Canaria. Olimpico 64 lost their eleventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 11 games lost. Alcobendas will face Granada (#11) at home in the next round. Olimpico 64 will play against Genero in Las Palmas and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
